Background
Serine proteinase inhibitors (serpins) form a diverse superfamily of secreted glycoproteins, with functions spanning blood coagulation, complement activation, programmed cell death, and development. They contain a peptide segment that mimics the substrate of target serine proteases. SerpinA3k (also called contrapsin, SPI-2 or Mcm2) is a 418-amino-acid murine serpin that inhibits trypsin-like proteases. It is expressed in the liver, secreted into plasma, and encoded by a gene located on mouse chromosome 12 E.

Mouse heart tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with Serpina3k Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.
Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse liver tissue slide using Serpina3k Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:200 (under 10x lens. Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).
