Background
Catalyzes the transmethylation of nonepinephrine (noradrenaline) to form epinephrine (adrenaline), using S-adenosyl-L-methionine as the methyl donor to form epinephrine (adrenaline), using S-adenosyl-L-methionine as the methyl donor . Other substrates include phenylethanolamine and octopamine . Also methylates normetanephrine .
