Background
NF-L is a 68 kDa light chain cytoskeletal intermediate filament protein that is expressed in neurons. It associates with the 125 kDa NF-M and the 200 kDa NF-H to form neurofilaments.

Spike Recovery
The spike recovery was evaluated by spiking 3 levels of Mammal NF-L into health serum sample. The un-spiked serum was used as blank in this experiment.
The recovery ranged from 96% to 104% with an overall mean recovery of 101%.
