Receptor for lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) . Necessary for p53/TP53-dependent survival in response to DNA damage . Promotes the Hippo-YAP signaling pathway and thereby modulates glycolysis and oxidative stress production by the regulation of hexokinase-2/HK2 .

Western blot analysis of GPR87 expression in Myla2059 (A), PC3 (B), A549 (C), DLD (D), HepG2 (E) whole cell lysates. (Predicted band size: 41 kD; Observed band size: 41 kD)

Immunofluorescent analysis of GPR87 staining in HuvEc cells. Formalin-fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 5-10 minutes and blocked with 3% BSA-PBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with the primary antibody in 3% BSA-PBS and incubated overnight at 4 °C in a hidified chamber. Cells were washed with PBST and incubated with a DyLight 594-conjugated secondary antibody (red) in PBS at room temperature in the dark. DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclei (blue).

Storage

Store at 4°C short term. For long term storage, store at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
