Background
Escherichia coli (E. coli) is a common host for biotech and biopharmaceutical production. Residual E. coli host cell proteins (HCPs) may impact the quality and safety of biological products, making strict detection and control indispensable.
AREX' E. coli Expression HCP Residual Detection Kit features high sensitivity and specificity for identifying HCP residues from E. coli BL21 strains. It delivers accurate and reliable results to monitor HCP levels at every stage of bioproduction.

Data

Cross-reactivity was evaluated against common process impurities, matrix components, and alternative cell-line HCPs. The assay exhibited negligible cross-reactivity, with no adverse impact on E. coli HCP quantification. Notably, the analytical recovery of all spiked samples remained consistently between 80% and 120%.
Storage
The kit should be stored at 2–8°C and protected from light, with a shelf life of 12 months. After opening, any unused components must be kept tightly sealed and stored under the same conditions (2–8°C, protected from light).
