Background

Cytokine that binds to TNFRSF3/LTBR. Binding to the decoy receptor TNFRSF6B modulates its effects. Acts as a ligand for TNFRSF14/HVEM . Upon binding to TNFRSF14/HVEM, delivers costimulatory signals to T cells, leading to T cell proliferation and IFNG production .

Western blot analysis of CD258 expression in Raji (A), L02 (B), A549 (C), Hela (D), mouse heart (E) whole cell lysates. (Predicted band size: 26 kD; Observed band size: 52 kD kD)

Immunohistochemical analysis of CD258 staining in human ovarian cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
