Background
African swine fever is an acute, hemorrhagic and virulent infectious disease caused by the African swine fever virus (ASFV) infecting domestic pigs and various wild boars. The virus is widespread and can be transmitted through a variety of routes, with clinical manifestations such as rapid heartbeat, dyspnea, partial cough, serous or mucopurulent discharge from the eyes and nose, cyanosis of the skin, and obvious bleeding from lymph nodes, kidneys, and gastrointestinal mucosa. The World Organization for Animal Health has listed it as a legally notifiable animal disease, and China has listed it as a first-class animal disease. This kit can easily measure the level of antibodies in serum or plasma to assess whether pigs are infected with ASFV (natural infection or artificial immunization vaccine infection).
