Background
Catalyzes the NADPH-dependent reduction of various carbonyl-containing compounds, including aldehydes, ketones, and toxic products from cellular metabolism or environmental exposure. Can reduce the dialdehyde form of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) into alcohol derivatives, via monoaldehydes intermediates.
