Signaling adapter of the reelin-mediated signaling pathway, which regulates the migration and differentiation of postmitotic neurons during brain development. Mediates intracellular transduction of Reelin signaling following reelin (RELN)-binding to its receptor: acts by docking proteins through its phosphotyrosine residues and PID domain.

Data

Western blot analysis of DAB1 expression in U87MG (A), HCT116 (B) whole cell lysates. (Predicted band size: 63 kD; Observed band size: 64 kD)

Immunofluorescent analysis of DAB1 staining in HepG2 cells. Formalin-fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 5-10 minutes and blocked with 3% BSA-PBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with the primary antibody in 3% BSA-PBS and incubated overnight at 4 °C in a hidified chamber. Cells were washed with PBST and incubated with a Alexa Fluor 594-conjugated secondary antibody (red) in PBS at room temperature in the dark.

Storage

Store at 4°C short term. For long term storage, store at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
