Antecedentes

Histone H1 protein binds to linker DNA between nucleosomes forming the macromolecular structure known as the chromatin fiber . Histones H1 are necessary for the condensation of nucleosome chains into higher-order structured fibers and promote formation of the H3K27me3 mark by the PRC2/EED-EZH2 complex . Also acts as a regulator of individual gene transcription through chromatin remodeling, nucleosome spacing and DNA methylation .

Western blot analysis of HIST1H1B expression in HepG2 (A) whole cell lysates. (Predicted band size: 22 kD; Observed band size: 32 kD)

Flow cytometric analysis of NCIH460 cells using Anti-HIST1H1B Antibody. The cells were fixed with 2% paraformaldehyde (10 min) and then permeabilized with 90% methanol for 10 min. The cells were incubated in 2% bovine serum albumin to block non-specific protein-protein interactions followed by the antibody at 37 °C for 60 min. The secondary antibody Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H&L) - AREX® Fluor 488 was incubated at 37 °C for 40 min. Isotype control antibody (blue line) was used under the same condition.
