Background

Tyrosine protein phosphatase which functions as a dosage-dependent inducer of mitotic progression . Directly dephosphorylates CDK1 and stimulates its kinase activity . Also dephosphorylates CDK2 in complex with cyclin-E, in vitro .

Western blot analysis of CDC25A (Phospho-S75) expression in HEK293T UV-treated (A), Jurkat UV-treated (B), NIH3T3 (C) whole cell lysates. (Predicted band size: 59 kD; Observed band size: 70 kD)

Immunohistochemical analysis of CDC25A (Phospho-S75) staining in human tonsil formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
