Background

May act as a physical homophilic interaction molecule between intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) and intraepithelial lymphocytes (IELs) at the mucosal epithelium for providing immunological barrier as a first line of defense against mucosal infection. Plays a role in embryonic stem cells proliferation and differentiation. Up-regulates the expression of FABP5, MYC and cyclins A and E.

Data

Western blot analysis of CD326 expression in HCT116 (A), CT26 (B), PC12 (C) whole cell lysates. (Predicted band size: 34 kD; Observed band size: 40 kD)

Immunofluorescent analysis of CD326 staining in HepG2 cells. Formalin-fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 5-10 minutes and blocked with 3% BSA-PBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with the primary antibody in 3% BSA-PBS and incubated overnight at 4 °C in a hidified chamber. Cells were washed with PBST and incubated with a AREX® Fluor 594-conjugated secondary antibody (red) in PBS at room temperature in the dark.

Storage

Store at 4°C short term. For long term storage, store at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
